  Position: Certified Personal Trainer
  Location: FFC Union Station
  Job Type: Full-time
  Compensation: At FFC, trainers earn commission based on experience and certifications, ranging from $40 to $74 per session. During the first 60 days, new trainers earn commissions from paid sessions & New Member Sessions, plus a special bonus ($500-$1000 each month during their first 3 months) for meeting session goals.

  New Trainer Schedule & Responsibilities (First 60-90 Days):
  • Choose 5+ shifts/week (6 hours each) including at least one weekend shift.
  Responsibilities:
  • Manage the InBody machine, Fitness Desk, etc.
  • Oversee the fitness floor
  • Greet members - get to know our members!
  • Perform outreach (email/calls) - building your book of business is a major part of this job. Use sales techniques to show your expertise and value as a top notch trainer!
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in exercise physiology or related field
  • Certification: Nationally accredited Personal Training certification
  • Experience: 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience
  • Expertise: Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer
  • Safety: CPR and AED certification

  • Build Your Business: Grow your client base through prospecting (calls, emails, social media)
  • Manage Your Schedule: Organize weekly appointments
  • Commitment: Full-time (30 hours/week, including weekends)
  • Drive Results: Help meet individual and department goals
  • Enhance the Environment: Keep the fitness floor clean and safe
  • Engage New Members: Create personalized workout plans
  • Be a Fitness Resource: Assist members on the fitness floor with exercises
  • Promote FFC Programs: Match members to relevant programs
  • Deliver Quality Training: Help clients achieve fitness goals
  • Stay Sharp: Keep certifications up-to-date
  • Community Involvement: Volunteer for special events
  • Organize Client Files: Maintain detailed records
