This position operates under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to distribute inventory, fill unit does carts, prepare IV admixture solutions, process patient drug charges and credits, review inventory stocks for outdated medication, collect orders from the floors, deliver medications to patient care areas, process telephone requests from the nursing units, charge and refill floor stock medications and many other general pharmacy duties not requiring the interpretation of a registered Pharmacist.

Job Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must meet state requirements for training and continuing education
• Oklahoma State permit

Preferred Job Requirements

• 1-2 years college
• National certification as Registered Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience with IV admixtures
