      * This is a part-time night shift position. 23.5 hours per week (two 11.75 hour shifts, Fridays and Saturdays.

      Responsibilities

      Join the Genesis nursing team as a Certified Residential Medication Aide where you will ensure that our residents and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual patients'/residents' needs and rights.
      Position Highlights
      *Administer and document non injectable medications in a safe, proper and accurate manner, according to duly authorized, licensed practitioner's written orders.
      *Provide assistance to residents with their activities of daily living.
      *Administer nebulized medications, bee sting kits and injectable insulin with additional documented training by a Registered Nurse.
      *Store, administer and/or destroy non injectable controlled substances according to the assisted living regulations of the state of Maine.
      *Report signs and symptoms that may require changes in medication to the physician.

      Qualifications

      *Must have passed the state approved certification course in Maine and maintain current credentials, based on state recertification guidelines.

      *Must obtain education in the form of an 8-hour Certified Residential Medication Aide recertification prior to or within 30 days of certificate expiration.

      Posted Salary Range

      USD $20.50 - USD $23.50 /Hr.
