Glen Ellyn School District 41 - Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing
- Illinois registered nurse license
- PEL with a school nurse endorsement
- Current CPR-AED certification, preferred
- Computer literacy
- Competency in the use of medical technology
- Experience in Early Childhood(Ages 3-4) Preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong skills in collaboration
- Experience as an IEP Team Member

Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Certified School Nurse for the 2025-2026 School Year
Information about District 41: District 41 is a warm, welcoming place known for high academic achievement, a strong sense of community and active family involvement. We serve approximately 3,500 students from Kindergarten through eighth grade in four elementary schools and one junior high. Our graduates attend Glenbard West High School, one of four high schools in Glenbard District 87. Our name is Glen Ellyn School District 41, but we actually serve parts of five communities: Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Glen Ellyn, Lombard and Wheaton.
Description: The school nurse supports student success by providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all children within the school setting. The school nurse addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and supports their achievement in the learning process.
