  • Job Description

      Req#: 533163

      Provides a variety of duties to support the CFS program; May be asked to serve as back-up for Financial Consultants and/or responsibilities within the department, as assigned.

      • Provides full client support for CFS clients and Financial Consultants; utilizes various systems required for account support; resolves problems regarding settlements, securities, etc. as necessary.
      • Works directly with the Financial Consultants in preparing for meetings with prospects and current clients, gathering information from & coordinating with various departments throughout the Bank.
      • Assists Financial Consultants in opening new accounts, collecting & researching assets, and contacting client(s) to maintain relationships and resolve any outstanding issues, questions, etc.
      • Responsible for closing all CFS accounts, including transferring assets and collecting final fees.
      • Maintains an active awareness of changes in legal and/or compliance requirements which may affect brokerage accounts.
      • Prepares and maintains various reports/logs, statements, and forms including regulatory, and other governmental forms as required for review by Financial Consultants to ensure accuracy and adherence to policy.
      • Initiates required administrative and operating procedures to ensure proper administration of accounts. Recommends operating methods as appropriate to manager.
      • Performs special research on accounts as may be required at the client’s request or for departmental purposes.
      • Keeps records of brokerage commissions received; responsible for calculating and tracking commission payments due to Financial Consultants.
      • Monitors CFS accounts for overdrafts, responsible for raising cash.
      • Processes various account related transactions accurately and efficiently; maintains familiarity with LPL platform system with regards to payment processing requirements.
      • Produces, maintains and tracks required account documentation (Security Exceptions, etc.).
      • Responsible for compiling various monthly & quarterly reports and all associated tracking & notification processes (Lee Loan, etc.).
      • Composes and directs written communication, including letters, memos, and presentations; responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material; takes minutes at meetings.
      • Communicates with other personnel within the unit or department, as well as other units, in order to see that the responsibilities are being properly discharged.
      • Serves as a liaison to Financial Planner, and Private Banker to ensure client’s overall financial needs are met in situations where warranted.
      • Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees.

      Qualifications/Requirements

      • BA or BS degree in a related field of study preferred
      • Specialized investment management education and training as well as specialized securities and securities trading education and training
      • Series 7 or 6, 63 and any other identified licensing
      • A minimum of five years in a related position preferred
      • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
      • Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
      • Thorough knowledge of current regulations, policies, etc. impacting CFS program
      • Comprehensive knowledge of the operating policies and procedures that impact the CFS program
      • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
      • Ability to travel; Valid Driver’s License required
      • Close attention to detail and good organizational skills

      Salary Range $55,380 to $70,000 Annually
