- Assists department with assigned projects

- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program

FPL Home seeks a talented and motivated individual to join our Channel Sales team for a rewarding summer internship experience. As a Channel Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining valuable insights into the dynamic world of channel sales, partner acquisition, residential and business products, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, time management, communication, collaboration, and project management skills and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
Product Essentials: Learn about FPL Home and our core product line for the Channel Sales team. SurgeShield, Electronics Surge Protection, Bundle, Commercial SurgeShield and WaterShield products.
Channel Sales Support: Assist the Channel Sales team in executing special projects to aid in capturing increased sales through our Partner network. Work with team members on assigned special projects. Assist the sales team with new partner materials processing.
Market Research: Conduct research and report on competing products, features, warranties, limitations, and create a final report outlining findings.
Prospect List Creation for Bulk Deals: Based on verticals, research potential companies to be contacted and create a master list. This will primarily include potential bulk deal opportunities.
Social Media: Review social media “voice” to learn about emerging products that are in our space for SurgeShield, Electronics Surge Protection, Bundle, Commercial SurgeShield and WaterShield products. Also look for language that might help us understand why a particular company should be contacted immediately for a potential bulk deal.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product teams, marketing, and IT to ensure proper alignment and project success.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports summarizing monthly project performance and initiatives. At the end of the summer internship, prepare a final presentation outlining projects, progress and findings.
