- Plan, organize, evaluate and implement the spiritual program for Sr. Living on the Crista Shores campus.
- Responsible for religious services for the Crista Shores campus and ensure that all services are staffed.
- Assist in providing small group Bible studies and devotional meetings for residents in collaboration with Life Enrichment Coordinators.
- Provide funeral, memorial and graveside services as requested.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents through personal visitation and resident-centered conversations.
- Ensure that all CRISTA residents receive an opportunity to know (accept) Christ (as Savior) and to grow in relationship with Christ
- Regularly visit with those ailing as well as with residents during hospital stays..
- Available for resident/family spiritual needs as needed.
- In cooperation with nursing and other interdisciplinary staff, maintains appropriate charting notes, evaluations, and assessments on residents pertaining to spiritual issues of care.
- Participate in meetings and planning sessions as assigned and requested by Executive Director.
- Serve as advisor to the Missionary Commission.
- Monitor the distribution of religious literature in accordance with CRISTA policy.

- Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.).
- Prayerfully seeks Godu2019s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
- Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
- Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTAu2019s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
- Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).
- Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.
- Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.u00A0
- Pastoral and ministry to the elderly.
- Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Blackbaud
- One quarter CPE required or other chaplaincy training.
- Master of Divinity
- Additional training: CPE, pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, or other chaplaincy training
- Pastoral ministry in a Senior Living context
- Ordained Minister
- Four quarters preferred.
