  Merchandise Cast Members have a passion for creating a magical and enjoyable shopping experience by ensuring the highest standard of Guest Service! We have the opportunity to engage with Guests & Cast, operate a point-of-sale system (POS register), handle cash, stock, inventory, and do light cleaning. We also help Guests daily by answering questions, providing information, and assisting with special requests. Merchandise Cast Members for this role will work at the Character Warehouse, located in the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, FL. A SECONDARY INTERVIEW REQUIRED

  The pay rate for this role in Florida is $18.90 per hour.

  Responsibilities

  • We connect with Guests by asking open-ended questions to assess Guest needs and make appropriate suggestions
  • Chip in to a high energy, fast-paced environment that provides Guests with an entertaining, fun, and dynamic experience
  • We perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a prominent level of Guest Service
  • We manage the processing of shipment, replenishment of the sales floor, and additional operational tasks based on the needs of the business
  • Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment
  • Demonstrate strong Guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor
  • Maintain a professional appearance and meet Disney grooming guidelines
  • Clean and dust floor surface, counter, and display, using cloths, broom, brushes, and/or cleaning agents

  Basic Qualifications

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • The job may require lifting boxes that weigh up to 45 lbs.
  • Physical role requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, standing, climbing, walking, and kneeling
  • Basic Math skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Full Time requires full availability for any shift, any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays; Part-Time requires full availability for training

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Previous cashier experience
  • Previous retail or related sales experience
