      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform charge capture audits by comparing medical record documentation against itemized bills
      - Identify charging, coding, or clinical documentation issues and collaborate with ancillary departments to resolve them
      - Prepare modifications to patient charges to ensure appropriate revenue integrity
      - Respond to third-party payer audit requests in collaboration with relevant departments
      - Maintain and analyze audit activity reports to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding
      - Active coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA
      - Ability to analyze and resolve patient claims held by billing edits
      - Strong understanding of charge capture processes and documentation requirements

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 3-4 years of experience in charge audit or finance-related roles
      - Experience in coding and/or reimbursement
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred
