What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee Charge Description Master functions and reimbursement analysis
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain charge codes and identify revenue leakage opportunities
- Conduct quality control audits and communicate findings and recommendations
- Compile reports and analyses on data integrity findings and ensure corrective actions are taken
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Four years of related experience
- Extensive knowledge of CPT/HCP CS, UB-04 Revenue Coding, and billing regulations
- Strong understanding of the Chargemaster and its relationship to other areas
- Coding certification (AAPC, AHIMA) strongly preferred
