Job Description

- Creates visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Tell stories through video and then edit/distribute the video based on project scope or client needs.
- Collaborates with the marketing team to create inspirational, powerful, and engaging graphic design, considering market trends and Charis & AWMI audience demographics.
- Follows creative direction to produce layouts that are eye-catching, innovative, original, and meet client goals.
- Develops designs to be used for events: event logo, branding, brochures, postcards, album covers, event programs, newspaper advertisements, name badges, and more.
- Lays out or updates books, study guides, curricula, and other large multi-page documents.
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously based on the organizations workload.
- Works under the direction of marketing and content manager to complete projects within deadlines.
- Follows department processes to move projects through all stages from creation to press-ready; logs notes at every step.
- Maintains technical knowledge by continual learning and ever-increasing proficiency in Adobe software and DaVinci Resolve.
- Reviews final productions for errors and ensures that final prints reflect client specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Extensive experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign required, Illustrator, preferred) while preparing production/print-ready artwork
- Creativity, flexibility, initiative, attention to detail, deadline-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in utilizing DaVinci Resolve
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions
- Must be comfortable taking direction, edits, and creative criticism from the Publications team
- Must stay up to date on new trends and industry software to remain relative in this competitive industry
- Photography skills and knowledge is preferred.
- Effectively communicate and process/implement ideas to and from other team members promptly
- Creative, with an artistic flair and have an eye for design as well as strong typography skills
- Team player
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign Statement of Faith.
- AA or BS in Graphic Design or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with AWM/CBC
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must pass a background check if applicable.
- Minimum experience required to be able to be successful in a role
- 3+ years of graphic design experience desired
- Photography experience a plus
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Position Purpose:
Produce, and create a video, graphics, and images that tell our story, promote our products, and enhance our brand. Update and maintain brand consistency on print-related marketing materials. Coordinate and support marketing efforts to support the vision and goals of Charis Bible College, under the direction of the Content Manager. This includes updates and campaigns for websites, conversion funnels, event promotions, social media, podcasts, and blogs, with the ability to fulfill digital needs for Charis Bible College. Work with different teams to coordinate our marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
