What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain the integrity of the electronic health record by investigating and correcting questionable data entries
- Provide issue identification, assessment, resolution, and technical support to achieve compliance with policies and standards
- Analyze chart correction scenarios and perform technical corrections as needed
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the correction of clinical information
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Health Information Management (HIM) or healthcare environment required
- One year of Medical Record and/or scanning experience within OnBase preferred
- Epic Experience preferred
- Six months of analysis experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- RHIT certification preferred
- Experience in a HIM environment or healthcare-related service
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and compliance standards
