- Oversee ongoing content strategy and creative playbook: partner with internal and external teams to establish an ongoing content strategy and agency model, and oversee creative development and best practices for the channel
- Proactively innovate Sapphire’s social media approach, including expansion to new channels, follower strategy, community engagement, influencer integrations, etc.
- Oversee and evolve Sapphire’s live content capture system, posting in real time at events and key moments
- Evolve and manage Sapphire’s organic amplification strategy, outlining a roadmap and recommended approach to organic boosting.
- Build Sapphire’s organic social media learning agenda, partnering with social and agency teams to identify best practices and manage results share-outs
- Facilitate strong working relationships and open collaboration across cross-functional team that includes brand, social media, experiences, and PR.
- Mentor and oversee junior team members supporting Sapphire social media
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s preferred
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience
- Background in social media required
- Be a self-starter, able to proactively translate high-level objectives into content strategy and top-to-bottom channel approach
- Able to effectively oversee all elements of organic social media strategy with a high level of independence.
- Experience bringing to life new and innovative ways to approach creative, broader channel strategy, and working models.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse opinions across leadership and cross-functional teams (internal and external), while maintaining strong relationships and being a trusted team player
- Easily adapt to changing priorities and fluctuations in responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of junior team members by collaborating, mentoring, and growing their expertise in the social space.
- Travel up to 15%, sometimes including nights or weekends (for event capture)

As the Chase Sapphire VP of Organic Social Media, you will apply this evolution to our organic social media channels. Specifically, you will manage the strategy and oversee the execution of all organic social media for Sapphire Reserve and Preferred. This means growing our channels and rethinking our content approach, while partnering with internal teams and external agencies. You will oversee all things related to organic social, including content, cadence, followers, channels, reporting, best-practices, etc., and will stay intimately connected with our paid social strategy.
