Job Description

- Provide the opportunity to network and increase your visibility with senior leaders who will mentor or coach you and support you with planning your rotations.
- Improve your technical skills while gaining valuable on the job leadership experience

- Provide Kaizens – a short-term breadth project which could give you international exposure
- A range of different products and technologies including bulk manufacturing, sterile processes, granulation, compression, distillation
- Identifying opportunities for safety and environmental improvements, including HAZOP and risk assessments
- Troubleshooting production problems in a manufacturing facility
- Design, installation, commissioning & validation of new processes & equipment
- New Product Introduction and Technology transfer
- Plant turnaround activities ranging from equipment configuration to plant decontamination
- Process automation and new technologies e.g. PAT, data analytics and continuous manufacturing
- Process Safety, hazard identification (i.e. HAZOP, SIL/LOPA) and other risk assessments
- Process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Deliver business critical projects including yield and productivity improvement initiatives
- Clear enthusiasm and motivation for working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
- A continuous improvement and growth mindset
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A team player with the ability to build collaborative relationships
- Self-motivated and proactive, keen to develop and learn.
- To be analytical, organized and process driven with excellent attention to detail

Education required: Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, or related IChemE accredited degrees with relevant Chemical Engineering modules. Graduation by Spring/Summer 2024
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically (domestically) mobile throughout rotations

In GSC, we make and supply medicines and vaccines all around the globe and our teams own every production stage, from creating quality products at our manufacturing sites to designing effective supply forecasting and regulatory inspections; all powered by digital, data and analytics.
We are looking for highly motivated graduates who are keen to develop into the future engineering, operational and technical leaders in GSC.
