  Transport Drivers play a critical role in the continued success of Colonial by safety and effectively delivering petroleum, lubricant, and chemical products to our customers.
  
  

  JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES

  • Delivers fuel, lubricant, and chemical products to and from specified destinations.

  • Operates dry vans nightly, Monday through Friday, running routes from Savannah to either Charlotte or Atlanta.

  • Performs drop and hook operations during regional runs.

  • Assists with moving company tractors between different locations using available night drivers.

  • Maintains equipment in clean, organized, and safe working condition.

  • Maintains driver logs in accordance with state and federal guidelines, including DOT regulations.

  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies.

  • Performs pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.

  • Inspects inventory to ensure proper delivery.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.

  • 2+ years of professional driving experience required.

  • Basic computer skills, including the use of electronic logs, employee time reporting, and email.
