- Degree in Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry ideally),
- Demonstrate knowledge of various technologies, instruments, and materials.
- Understanding of fundamental professional chemistry principles and practices;
- Formulation skills,
- Good communication and analytical skills,
- Italian/English
- Perform analyses, tests, and development of new or updated formulas,
- Site support activities focus on support QC and formula transfer,
- Formula optimization process works with process team to ensure the productivity.
- Formula management in ERP system
- Quality investigations activities to support ARC analysis.
- Provide feedback, test results, and data regarding the formulation process and recommends modifications to formulas.
- Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Respond to standard to moderately complex questions and concerns from plants, research technicians, quality control, and other internal parties regarding development and related programs and services,
- Operate, clean, and calibrate a variety of equipment that requires professional judgment and background; also utilize technical or standard equipment during projects,
For our R&D coatings laboratory based at Pianoro (Bologna) we are actively looking for a Chemist Associate. In this role, you will perform entry-level analyses, testing, and formulation of new products (wood coatings).
