What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to legal requirements
- Conduct compliance investigations and audits to identify and correct noncompliance
- Disseminate information and provide compliance training to employees
- Regular meetings with division compliance staff to mitigate risks
- Develop, implement, and evaluate compliance policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, law, or related field
- Certification in healthcare compliance preferred
- 5 years of experience in health care compliance, auditing, or legal affairs
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree or higher in a related field
- Certification in healthcare compliance
- Experience in a Medicaid managed care organization or similar healthcare entity
