  Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic management of accounting and finance functions, ensuring robust, compliant financial systems that support current activities and future growth.
  • Direct accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, recommending improvements for integrity of financial information.
  • Manage relationships with independent auditors and coordinate audit activities.
  • Oversee financial system upgrades to meet business needs with cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions, providing accurate financial information for decision-making.
  • Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements to protect company assets.
  • Hire, train, and retain competent finance staff, providing leadership and motivation.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Present financial updates to the board of directors.
  • Conduct financial modeling and provide strategic recommendations based on analysis.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree (MBA) or professional certifications like CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in senior finance or accounting roles, preferably in the industry.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, financial performance assessment, and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Experience with investor relations and private equity.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling.
  • High integrity and commitment to governance.
