    • The Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) is an executive-level position responsible for driving and overseeing key initiatives, strategic projects, and administrative functions that span multiple departments and foster strong partnerships within the organization. The CIO plans a vital role in supporting the Superintendent by providing leadership in the development and implementation of innovative programs and services that advance the district’s educational mission. The CIO works collaboratively with leadership and faculty to facilitate growth and continuous improvement across the district. In addition to managing innovation initiatives, the CIO may be called upon to serve as the acting chief administrator in the absence of the Superintendent, ensuring the continuity of leadership and the achievement of district goals.

      Salary & Benefits:

      Executive Salary Schedule: $111,034.00 Annual Salary
      260 days per year, 40 hours per week

      Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs equal to the difference between the premium cost and the annual cost limitation imposed on public employers.

      Education:

      Master’s degree in educational administration or related field required. Valid Michigan School Administrator certification required.
      Experience:

      Minimum of 5 years in administration or supervisory experience required. Previous experience in state or federal programming, specialized student services, parental and community engagement, budget development and management, strategic planning, professional learning, and school improvement required.
