CIB Chief of Staff Office
LondonAs Barclays CIB Chief of Staff Office, you will support the CIB Chief of Staff team in delivering CIB-wide strategic initiatives. These initiatives will drive top and bottom-line improvements by leveraging data, technology, and the Power of One Barclays. Given the dynamic nature of the overall business, you may provide support across broader Chief of Staff Office activities and ad hoc requirements.

• Defining problem statements and reach consensus across stakeholders
• Using data driven analysis to map the current state and identify areas of opportunity
• Leveraging problem-solving skills to identify practical solutions and addressing risks by developing appropriate mitigating actions
• Prioritising solutions considering factors such as effort and returns, whiling remaining adaptable to changing internal and external conditions
• Contributing to establishing a structured, team-driven approach for measuring progress and managing escalations/changes in priorities
• Translating business requirements to technological solutions, overseeing changes through the technology team to ensure effective implementation
• Preparing materials for Board presentations, update to Regulators, key client discussionsWhat we’re looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (master’s degree preferred but not required)
• Previous experience in the Financial Services industry
• Excellent analytical, design and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly with proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerpointSkills that will help you in the role:
• Broad knowledge of Finance & Accounting concepts (RWAs, Balance Sheets, P&L)
• Understanding of Transaction Cycle construct and hands-on experience working in cross-functional, multi-geography settings
• Experience working with Technology partners on strategic projects is highly desired
