      Job Overview

      Shriners Children’s Northern California is looking for a full-time Chief of Staff to lead the orthopedics team. Candidates can expect to receive an annual salary between $756,288-$1,067,700. Shriners Children’s offers a competitive benefits package, including:

      Responsibilities

      • Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Shriners clinical, educational, and research programs as well as management of physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and others.
      • Fulfill the mission of excellence in patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and in the operating room
      • Fulfill the mission of excellence in research by performing scholarly clinical and/or translational research, presenting and publishing research findings, and obtaining extramural funding for research
      • Fulfill the mission of excellence in education by supervising and teaching students, residents, and fellows.

      Qualifications

      • Minimum 10 years of experience in a clinical leadership role
      • Associate professor or above
      • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
      • Must have successfully completed an ACGME accredited orthopedic surgery residency program
      • Must have completed relevant fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics
      • Must be board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) or in possession of Subspecialty Certification (SC) if appropriate
      • Must possess or be eligible for California state medical license
      • Extensive experience with pediatric orthopedics, particularly spine and/or limb deformity
      • Experience with research
