      Here's what you can expect as a Chief of Staff / Senior Manager of Value-Based Care Strategy and Special projects at DaVita:
      The Senior Manager of Value-Based Care Strategy and Special Projects will join the Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) team. The position will function as a strategic advisor, providing expertise on operational inputs for our business development initiatives. IKC is rapidly growing and a key part of this role will be overseeing the strategic alignment of future growth to our operating model. This role will report into IKC’s Program Management team, which oversees programmatic success across all product lines. This individual will also drive special projects and serve as the Chief of Staff to the Program Management VP.

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      Operations Adviser to Business Development Strategy

      • Collaborate with leaders across DaVita IKC to develop strategic perspective on growth priorities across product lines

      • Balance the needs of payer and physician stakeholders to develop strategic value propositions / products

      • Develop processes and codify perspectives to ensure clinical and operational success is properly factored into contract negotiations, quality metric construction, and deal modeling

      • Collect, organize and disseminate competitive intel and broader industry trends to inform growth strategy and broader Program Management team priorities

      • Develop and retain a strong team of individuals who are analytical and process-minded but also understand the operational, clinical, and financial aspects of IKC

      Quarterback Special Projects

      • Own and manage special projects related to the opportunities for future growth including product innovation and new market exploration

      • Provide an operational perspective in cross functional workgroups targeting business development strategy

      Chief of Staff to Program Management VP

      • Serve as thought and execution partner to the Program Management Vice President in driving cross-program initiatives, tracking on goals / performance, and establishing effective management processes

      • Facilitate communication at scale; prepare impactful presentations for a multitude of audiences, including executive leadership

      Qualifications

      • 5-7 years of relevant work experience

      • Bachelor’s degree

      • Skilled developer of presentations; proficient in excel analytics

      • Experience in Healthcare and Value-based care preferred

      • Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar role a plus

      • Comfort leading large-scale business strategy projects and leaning into ambiguity
      • Expert communicator / influencer who can elevate to executive settings

      • Relationship-builder who can navigate a highly complex, matrixed organization

      • Driven with ability to work in a very fast-paced, hard-working, and fun environment

      • 30% travel

      Salary/ Wage Range

      $82,800.00 - $121,600.00 / year

      Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.       *If this position is located in a region with minimum wage requirements, we will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage: Denver: $17.29/per hour for nonexempt roles, Colorado: $50k/year for exempt roles.
