- Shape and execute the organization’s people and culture strategies in alignment with WesleyLife’s mission, vision and in collaboration with the Executive Circle.
- Lead all areas of HR, including employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), talent acquisition, organizational learning, leadership development, recognition programs, HR compliance, people analytics, and culture-building.
- Develop and implement strategies to foster exceptional team member experiences, from onboarding to retention, informed by data and direct input from the workforce.
- Regularly assess workplace culture through engagement surveys, feedback loops, and key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion change leadership by aligning people practices to organizational priorities and ensuring culture is consistently activated across all levels and areas of the organization.
- Serve as lead liaison and advocate for the team member experience in Board of Director governance, regularly reporting on people and culture-related strategies and outcomes.
- Promote the cultivation of external partnerships focused on the advancement of workforce strategies, including schools and community-based partnerships. Identify opportunities to scale external partnerships and ensure mutual benefit and alignment with long-term talent goals.
- Partner with senior leaders during new community development, mergers/acquisitions, and master planning processes to ensure workforce readiness, cultural and team member integration.
- Ensure robust training and development programs that foster both compliance and growth, including clinical competencies, hospitality training, and leadership development.
- Develop succession plans and career pathways to promote internal mobility and leadership readiness.

WesleyLife's Chief People and Culture Officer leads WesleyLife’s people and culture strategies to ensure the organization attracts, develops and retains mission-driven team members who deliver exceptional service across our health and well-being network. As the executive steward of our workplace culture, the CPCO is accountable for fostering engagement, enabling leadership development, and embedding WesleyLife’s values into every stage of the team member experience. This position leads the Human Resources function, including employee relations, total rewards, talent acquisition, training and education, HRIS systems, compliance and policy development. The CPCO aligns organizational culture and workforce readiness to support WesleyLife’s strategic direction and operational performance.
