      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team.

      We are seeking a speech and language support practitioner who is passionate about working with children and their families, and who wants to be part of a supportive and inclusive team. You will already have had some experience in delivering specific SALT interventions within your setting.

      We pride ourselves on reflective, neurodiversity-affirming, and strength-based care.

      We prioritise support and clinical supervision. You will have an induction period with shadowing and joint sessions, as well as regular supervision.

      A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.

      Main duties of the job

      Contribute to the provision of a Speech and Language Therapy Service to children with communication difficulties in clinic, pre-school and school settings etc under the supervision of a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT).

      Carry out routine interventions with supervision from the SLT as required e.g. delegated intervention with new clients, observation and informal assessment through play and interaction, advice to parents/carers and early years settings.

      Follow service guidelines/standards to independently support the work of the SLT e.g. jointly running groups, supporting therapy programmes

      Provide some clinical administrative support to Speech and Language Therapists, including preparing intervention materials
