Job summary
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and creative CWP for our Children and Young People Services, to work on exciting, new services based in St Andrews Youth Club the oldest youth club in the world. St Andrews is a community-based youth club in Westminster, established over 150 years ago, which enriches young lives by providing a sense of belonging, fun and informal education to over 500 members each year, where they develop self-confidence, respect for others and build their abilities to contribute to society. The Club is a vital resource for the local community, providing opportunities in a safe, attractive environment for young people to develop educationally, socially and personally through an exciting and remarkably wide range of sport, art, excursions and practical skills. While you will be employed, supported, trained and supervised by experienced supervisor from WCL Mind Children and Young People's team, your day to day work will be within the youth club.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with children and young people, their parents, colleagues from CYP team and St Andrews Youth Club and other statutory and voluntary services to provide coordinated service to children and young people who attend St Andrews Youth Club, always being focussed on improving outcomes, reducing health inequalities and securing best outcomes are achieved for all young people.
