- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with missions leaders within a designated territory, ensuring a high level of engagement and collaboration with a portfolio of churches.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communication, fostering increased awareness and participation in international missions among constituents.
- Conduct ongoing needs assessments, monitoring, and validation to ensure a deep understanding of customer requirements and preferences.
- Travel extensively throughout the designated territory to attend church meetings, partner-led events, and organizational events, facilitating strong relationships and driving missional outcomes.
- Manage comprehensive communication strategies for the assigned caseload of churches and partners, including planning and executing travel itineraries, maintaining accurate data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, and facilitating inter-team collaboration through formal and informal channels.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and training to enhance expertise and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry and denominational trends, identifying potential challenges and opportunities that may impact the caseload of constituents and supporting partners.
- Develop and implement solutions to navigate these challenges and promote increased missions activity, investing in the creation of training resources, tools, and programs that drive church missions engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver cross-training initiatives, enhancing organizational engagement and driving results-oriented outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree and seminary training (MDiv or MRE) or equivalent missionary experience
- At least 8 years’ experience serving as a missionary and/or leading a church staff to mobilize missions
- Must possess advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and perspectives to diverse audiences, including senior leaders across the Southern Baptist Convention.
- Experience with develop creative solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and fostering collaborative relationships and build trust with key partners.
- Possess a deep understanding of mission and proven ability to be able to inspire and equip through verbal, visual, and written communication.
- Effectively communicate with key audiences and internal IMB leadership, comfortable with presenting to large audiences.
- IMB & SBC experience and/or knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and negotiate using tested relational and key/strategic account business models
- High initiative as a self-starter and ability to multitask and prioritize in high pressure environment.
- Strong administrative, organizational, communication skills to develop and maintain effective work processes, relational networks, implementation of strategies, offsite teamwork and follow through with commitments
- Experience with CRM (customer relationship management) tool (preferred)
- Ability to travel at least 30% of time
