- Gather, document and develop the waterfall requirements for private equity and hybrid funds based on the fund governing documents, agreements, and interpretations of key financial terms, while working closely with client executives and client general counsel.
- Build carried interest/incentive fee financial models based on the waterfall requirements to facilitate the Fund Accounting teams in servicing clients.
- Maintain continuous alignment of waterfall development project plan objectives to the client’s requirements and modify the project plan to enhance effectiveness of the waterfall development process as necessary.
- Enhance and maintain effective communication with key engagement partners, including JPMorgan internal Sales, Product, Operations, Tax, and Technology partners.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting / Mathematics. Degree in Computer Science or similar technical background will also be considered.
- 0-2 years minimum private equity experience. 2+ years of Financial Services Industry or equivalent experience
- Client service experience is required
- Strong understanding of key financial terms in private equity fund agreements
- Solid prioritization and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with others to troubleshoot issues and remediate accounting data Intermediate Excel skills
- Cascade Suite experience a huge plus
- Private equity waterfall modeling experience is preferred
- Investran knowledge a plus
- VBA programming knowledge, SQL knowledge, and experience with Visio a plus
- CPA/CFA or working towards the designation a plus
- Proven ability to successfully plan, lead, and execute complex engagements while influencing many different groups and individuals to deliver high quality and timely deliverables

Function Overview
The Private Equity Fund Services group is looking for a candidate that will help build out our Private Equity waterfall center of excellence. The candidate will work closely with our Clients, as well as Operations and Technology teams, to develop Private Equity distribution waterfall models on a strategic waterfall platform and continue building on the waterfall knowledge and expertise in the business as we continue to grow and build out our centralized waterfall team.Key Roles and Responsibilities
