      Job Description:

      As an EMEA Events Paris Coordinator within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Events team, you will partner with business stakeholders to ensure the strategic positioning and flawless execution of events. You will have the opportunity to deliver consistent and best-in-class relationship and business development opportunities for our clients and ultimately impact bottom line revenue. This role will focus on supporting all lines of business within the CIB working with regional sales and marketing, as well as product teams to deliver conferences and events both within the UK and Europe.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Diligently maintain inventory of stock for the department and order branded conference materials.
      • Independently deliver stand-alone events as part of the role.
      • Thoroughly understand and apply complex internal processes and controls to adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
      • Actively assist in the development and reconciliation of event budgets, ensuring adherence to strict parameters and negotiating costs with suppliers.
      • Effectively manage and instruct internal and external vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and value standards are maintained.
      • Consistently execute quality output under tight deadlines, working extra hours as needed, including early mornings and late nights when necessary.

      Required Qualifications

      • One to three years in events, marketing, or a related field, ideally with a financial institution or professional services organization.
      • Superior oral and written communication and analytical skills; fluency in both French and English.
      • Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
      • Proactive, self-sufficient, resourceful, and motivated.
      • Highly motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, innovative, and creative, with the determination to achieve results through initiative and common sense.
      • Ability to think independently and solve problems.
      • Adaptability: Comfortable with and supportive of ongoing change.
      • Strong skills in time management, prioritization, and executing deliverables.
      • Willingness to be a team player and engage with peers, partners, management, relationship managers, and clients.
      • Positive attitude and commitment to success, with the ability to tackle any task.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities.
      • Comfortable working within a matrix management organization structure.
