      Job Title: CB, IB & CRU Operations – Regulatory Cross Product – Regulatory Operations Analyst

      Location: Manila

      Corporate Title: Associate

      RCP is dedicated to supporting our business in their goal to build long-term, sustainable relationships with the Bank’s key institutional clients, while delivering strong returns to stakeholders.

      The Regulatory Operations Expert will perform key functions that support and control the business in meeting the Bank’s regulatory reporting requirement; the key focus will be key APAC regulators such as HKMA (Hong Kong), MAS (Singapore), ASIC (Australia) across all asset classes like rates, credit, FX and equities.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Ensure overall Regulatory adherence for COO Regulatory reporting obligations from a timeliness, accuracy and completeness perspective.
      • Monitor exception report and allocate to the relevant teams; track resolution and escalate where necessary; perform control checks to see if trades are reported timely, accurately and completely;
      • Perform root cause analysis or exceptions with investigation & appropriate escalation of any significant issues found through testing, rejection remediation or any other stream to senior management & key internal stakeholders in Compliance, Country Management, and Technology to ensure transparency of our controls within appropriate governance models.
      • Support the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulate identified impacts and risks; Manage the issue resolution projects to ensure accurate & timely delivery;
      • Partner effectively with technology & development teams to design system solutions with the aim to automate as much of the exceptions process as possible; Draft and amend project support documents such as business requirements documents, functional specification documents, support operating models and test plans;

      Your skills and experience

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related courses with prior experience from financial services and advance knowledge in different asset classes like rates, credit, FX and equities; Control and Regulatory oversight experience is beneficial.
      • Exposure to Derivatives Middle Office function or equivalent, preferably with experience in business analysis and strong risk & control background;
      • Ability to work under pressure, understand complex business specifications as well as data requirements and able to work on tight deadlines whilst managing stakeholder expectations;
      • Exposed to work in virtual teams and matrixed organization regionally and globally; effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and projects
      • Strong leadership and effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to work in a fast-pace environment
