Assist with a variety of tasks within the Securities and Investment Banking and Capital Markets Divisions, as part of a formal training and rotational program and a defined career path to be associates within Investment Banking functional area
Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained and are related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables within Investment Banking functional area
Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of Investment Banking functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with Investment Banking managers, functional colleagues and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers
6+ months of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
6+ months of Investment Banking, Corporate Banking or Capital Markets experience
Strong financial modeling skills
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Able to review and interpret financial statements
Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining excellence and consistency of work.
Ability to quickly change focus and stay organized is a must.
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

Base pay range for this position is $ 110,000 - $125,000 USD

The Analyst is the primary analytical support for corporate and investment bankers in the origination of corporate and investment banking transactions. Analysts in RIB assist in the cultivation of relationships with potential customers by conducting research, partnering with other groups within Wells Fargo, participating in strategic planning and assisting in the execution of advisory services and capital markets transactions. Analysts participate in client meetings, due diligence visits and other client interactions during which they gain exposure to key client executives and senior bankers. The Analyst provides these services as part of a team consisting of Associates, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managing Directors.
In this role, you will:This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
