- Support initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior leaders at the bank
- Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities
- Challenge existing analyses, provide recommendations for change
- Execute creative analyses and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendations
- Gather, synthesize, analyze and present data and findings (e.g., financial modeling, valuation)
- Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
- Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Create and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility
- A well-rounded academic background is essential
- Diverse problem solving experience, including but not limited to management consulting firm, investment bank, Equity Research, other internal Strategy group, case competition, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate analysis and findings effectively and confidently (both oral and written)
- Effectively be part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
- Effectively manage your time to deliver multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
- Proficient in English & any local languages will be a plus
The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Strategy Group operates as an internal consulting function to address topics at the at the top of senior management agendas. Our focused group of professionals is composed of top performers from top strategy consulting firms, investment banks, other internal JPMorgan Chase groups, and top undergraduate and graduate programs.
As a Strategy, Associate on the CIB Strategy team, you will have the opportunity to work on initiatives across CIB, as well as cross-lines of business. Projects include developing growth strategies, assessing and planning new product and market entry, strategic business deep dives and designing cross-CIB wide initiatives.
