      Job Description :

      This job is responsible for the delivery of a portion of the overall marketing strategy in the form of a portfolio of small to medium programs, capabilities or processes. Key responsibilities include owning or supporting marketing operations including performance, risks and controls, production audits/exams/maintenance, and content management. Job expectations include owning day to day relationships with key business partners, solving moderate to complex business problems and independently driving strategic marketing improvements and solutions.

      The Chief Investment Office at Merrill and Bank of America supports our advisors and clients by acting as the investment engine of the firm. A critical driver of our investment platform and revenue, CIO provides critical Market Viewpoints and Insights helping clients understand current market conditions, investment trends and investment guidance; Due Diligence & Manager Research with rigorous reviews of managers and investments; Portfolio Construction & Management services allowing us to deliver a range of turn-key investment solutions that represent some of the best thinking of the firm.

      The CIO Marketing team lead works closely with the CIO line of business to define marketing strategy and programs to generate engagement and adoption for advisors and their clients. The CIO marketing team is dedicated to serving clients needs in an ever-changing environment, particularly during times of market volatility and is continuously evolving to take on new and different programs and challenges. The CIO marketing team has a sharp eye on what clients and advisors are looking for with creative and hard-working talent that constantly strives to improve on our programs and results.

      Reporting to the CIO Marketing lead, the Chief Investment Office’s Investment Insights role will be responsible for end to end integration of CIO thought leadership, and reoccurring publications into Merrill, and the Private Bank. The role will support the strategic vision, and all strategic initiatives for the CIO Marketing team and primarily lead the distribution of the Chief Investment Office’s Investment Insights (thought leadership). This is a highly collaborative role, partnering across the Segment Marketing team, Digital teams and Content Center of Excellence. Responsibilities also include editing, managing the eComms production process, internal comms and content amplification into other channels where necessary. Also responsible for managing timely publications in the event of market or other economic volatility. The role also demands an executive presence given an expectation to represent the CIO Marketing team across line of business partners. The ideal candidate has experience in financial services, or global markets has an eye for process efficiencies, and enhancing work flows, enjoys a face paced environment, has commercial presence, and has an ability to see the bigger picture while also executing on tactics

      Specific responsibilities include:

      • Manage the seamless execution of CIO Insights publications including internal and external distribution and monitoring their effectiveness.
      • Timely and effective development, execution and management of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns particularly focused on CIO adoption and growth
      • Share ideas to help influence and execute strategy, for example identifying how things could be enhanced and providing thoughtful commentary on how to do so
      • Manage marketing review process and approvals
      • Support monitoring market volatility and executing Rapid Response process during times of volatility or other high impact world events including timely editing and production of internal and external communications
      • Measure effectiveness and monitoring accomplishments and business impact.
      • Manage in a fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment within tight, market driven deadlines.

      Required Qualifications :

      Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

      Pay and benefits information

      Pay range

      $100,000.00 - $167,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

      Discretionary incentive eligible

      This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
