      ADP, Inc. seeks a CIRC Analyst in our Roseland, NJ location.

      • Responsibilities. Responsible for monitoring multiple sources of analytical computer and physical security related information, taking this disparate information and turning it into strategic and tactical intelligence to protect ADP's lines of business for High Alerts. Process Critical Alerts and escalate to next level to validate if it is a Declared Incident. Perform Incident Response Activities for Declared Incidents. Mentor / Train other Analysts on various items learned, tools, data and findings during investigations. Develop new or update existing documentation. Perform OTJ Training / Shadow other analysts to learn Tools Technology and Process. Self-Paced Training on Generalized Cyber/Threat Methodology and Concepts. Help define, build, test, and implement correlation rules that support the monitoring and enforcement of the ADP security policies. Testing Support including assisting in the development of functional testing requirements for new or existing system features. Conduct technical analysis and assessments of security related incidents, including malware analysis, packet level analysis, and system level forensic analysis. Provide complete and detailed information to next shift during handoff. Ensure that next shift is fully equipped with information needed to handle the incident before disengaging. Introduce next shift team member to the technical support teams for proper hand over. Follow documented technical and management escalation processes to escalate up to the CIRC-AMRS leads and other GSO teams Investigators as quickly as possible.

      TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

      • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
      • Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: IT/cyber security experience in a large global organization; Security incident activities; Computer security forensics and security vulnerabilities; SQL/PostgreSQL; Text and data representation and manipulation; Operating system internals; Networking, Windows and *nix environments; TCP/IP and network communications; Web content scripting languages; Interpreting the log output of Windows and Unix logs; Producing architectural diagrams and overviews for both business and technical audiences; Wiki documentation, project blogging; Interpreting the log output of a wide selection of device classes, spanning Networking and host Infrastructure service devices; Shell programming; Extracting information from data and executable file types; Shellcode fundamentals; Business-impacting security scenarios and viable methods to detect these scenarios such as Cross device log correlation.
