- Answers the general City of Lynn Haven phone line and provides excellent customer service.
- Provides clear direction and information about city services and events.
- Provides a positive and confident “face” to the city in City Hall.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of high school resulting in a diploma or GED.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Ability to communicate appropriately and professionally with individuals at all levels of the City.
- Ability to handle conflict situations professionally and with courtesy.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

Do you like helping people and providing excellent customer service? Are you a whiz at computer applications, and can catch on to processes and procedures easily? Do you remember names and faces? Do you like being a “gate-keeper” and helping an executive manage his/her time effectively? If so, you may be the next Receptionist for the City of Lynn Haven! The City Hall Receptionist assists citizens who have questions, need assistance, and ask directions about many city-related services. This position also assists the Assistant City Manager and City Manager by providing friendly and helpful assistance to everyone, employees and guests alike. The ideal candidate has at least worked in the customer service arena, has excellent telephone and communication skills, and likes people. A good candidate has excellent skills using computer, internet, and other applicable software applications. Speaking Spanish is a plus.
