      Job Description

      The City Laborer plays a crucial role in NYCHA’s Waste Management Department, assisting with the operation and upkeep of the Pneumatic System at the Polo Grounds. Under the direction of the Chief of Pneumatic Operations, this position requires performing various labor-intensive tasks to support routine maintenance, repairs, and operational efficiency.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      - Execute physical labor in support of maintenance functions within NYCHA facilities.
      - Move, lift, and transport materials of varying weights and sizes.
      - Utilize hand tools or power-driven equipment in daily tasks.
      - Operate motor vehicles when required for job-related duties.
      - Provide guidance and oversight to other laborers in performing their responsibilities.

      Additional Information
