      Job Description:

      Security Systems Administrative Support guard will perform various clerical and administrative tasks to support Security Services management. This guard will also coordinate the issuance and retrieval of corporate keys, ID access cards and key fobs.

      Major responsibilities for Security Systems Administrative Support guard(s) include:

      • Administration of the ID access cards, Access Control and Key Control programs including Asure ID, SimpleK, Axiom V Enterprise Security System and Morse KeyWatcher TrueTouch.
      • Processing series of requests through the onboarding & offboarding application system.
      • Responding to inquires related to access and key control.
      • Performing comprehensive audits of CCTV cameras, security keys, temporary access cards, inactive access profiles, office supplies and other security system related items.
      • Review of access levels with designated authorities for ongoing update and improvement of access.
      • Running database reports of cardholders and entry points for the purpose of investigating and troubleshooting issues as required.
      • Perform door schedule changes of any City facilities upon request or statutory holidays.
      • Participating in ongoing projects for the development and improvement of access control and key control.
      • Updating and maintaining standard operating procedures.
      • Maintaining a database of accurate records comprised of access requests, completing filing and archival of records as required.
      • Assisting with the design and development of the City’s key hierarchies
      • Acting as a backup for the Coordinator, Key & Card Access
      • Acting as a backup for Dispatch and Communications
      • Acting as a backup for CCTV Review and Administrative Support
      • Performing other related duties as assigned by the City
      Job Requirements:

      • Valid Ontrio Security License
      • WSIB Approved First Aid and CPR Level C
      • Minimum 2 Years of Security experience or in related field
      • Minimum 1 year of Admin / CCTV experience or in related field
      • Strong written and verbal communication
      • Strong Window Office Skills
      • Organization, Time Management and Professionalism
      • General knowledge City operations would be deemed an asset
      • Must possess a valid G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years
      • Must provide drivers abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years
