  Job Title: Civil CAD Technician – Municipal Projects

  Location: Milwaukee, WI

  Employment Type: Full-Time

  Position Overview:

  We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil CAD Technician with experience in Civil 3D to support municipal infrastructure projects. This role involves producing high-quality engineering drawings and collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Use Civil 3D to develop, revise, and maintain engineering drawings and 3D models for municipal infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to prepare design plans and construction documents
  • Ensure all CAD work adheres to local municipal standards and industry best practices
  • Maintain organized project files and ensure proper version control and documentation
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project documentation
  • Support the continuous improvement of CAD standards and workflows
  • Stay current with CAD software updates and emerging technologies

  Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer-Aided Design, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar CAD drafting role
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D is required; experience with MicroStation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Must be available to work onsite in the Milwaukee office five days per week

  
  

  
  

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
