Job Description
- Req#: req12733
- Producing CAD drawings for projects such as airports, roads, pipelines, ponds and stormwater.
- Produce, check and issue civil project drawings using AutoCAD, in accordance with local and national standards, and in conjunction with design engineers.
- Assisting with the management, and delegation of CAD related work for the wider team, particularly for large projects.
- Guiding and mentoring new and junior team members with the development of their CAD skills.

The opportunity
Our Transport & Infrastructure team works on a wide variety of exciting projects within New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands, operating across the roads, rail, ports, airports and land development market sectors. With a strong current and future portfolio of projects, our national Transport and Infrastructure business operates with high levels of team engagement and enjoys recognition across the country through our consistently proven ability to rise to a range of technically demanding challenges.
We have an opportunity for a Civil Drafter based in Auckland. Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different, overall, this role will see you:
Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$60,000.00 and NZ$80,000.00 depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.
About you
Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across New Zealand in a multidisciplinary business. You have at least two years or relevant work experience including experience with AutoCAD. You will have an enquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally. How you work is also important to us – we will value your enthusiasm and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team.
