      Civil Site Engineer - Indianapolis, IN

      We are actively hiring a Civil Engineer in Indianapolis, IN! This position involves working on the Site Engineering team to independently engineer and design site development projects in collaboration with Professional Engineers and CAD Designers. The company specializes in Commercial, Industrial, K-12, and Multi-family projects.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Conduct site feasibility studies to determine project viability.
      • Perform site and environmental analyses to ensure compliance with regulations.
      • Develop schematic designs for site projects.
      • Coordinate engineering systems to ensure project integration and functionality.
      • Analyze site costs to optimize project budgets.
      • Develop site design plans ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
      • Prepare comprehensive site construction documents for project execution.
      • Research specifications and materials to support project requirements.
      • Check and coordinate documents for accuracy and consistency.
      • Participate in bidding and contract negotiation processes.
      • Perform office work during the construction phase to support project management.
      • Conduct site observations during the construction phase to ensure project alignment.

      Job Requirements

      • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
      • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering exam for Civil EIT License
      • 3+ years of experience in Site Design using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
      • Ability to work independently on site projects with minimal assistance
      • Experience in taking projects from start to finish, including client communication

      Work Environment

      The Civil Team consists of seven members. Work hours are Monday to Thursday for 9 hours each day and Friday for 4 hours, totaling 40 hours per week, with occasional extra hours (40-45 hours). Start times are flexible between 7-9 AM, with end times between 4-6 PM. The position offers the ability to work from home when necessary, though it is not a remote or hybrid role. The office is new and located in a pleasant office park featuring walking trails, a gym, and outdoor activities. The team culture is excellent, fostering team building and collaboration.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
