Overview

Responsibilities
Perform engineering duties including planning and designing construction of buildings and water/sewage systems. Duties may include: Assist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and stormwater management. Complete data entry and analysis using Excel and ArcGIS. Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies. Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies. Prepare civil engineering technical memorandums and reports. Use geospatial and hydraulic software including ArcGIS, ICPR, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS to perform engineering assignments. Complete hydraulic calculations for pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and other water infrastructure. Assist in preparing cost estimates for various water and wastewater master planning projects. Travel to local worksites required.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of work experience as a Civil Engineer, Assistant Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, or a related occupation.
