      We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to manage our complex and dynamic projects and grow with the company. The position is based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.

      The Civil Estimator will be reporting to the President at Tarkett Sports Construction Mid- Atlantic. The ideal candidate will prepare cost estimates for our construction projects, and will include preparing preliminary estimates, performing risk assessments, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the most cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in site work construction.

      What You’ll Do

      • Aid in the Design process, establish preliminary budgets and construction document review.

      • Analyzing blueprints and other project documentation to prepare time, cost and material, and labor estimates

      • Perform accurate quantity takeoff and build bid estimate.

      • Adjusting estimates when there are changes in the scope of project

      • Review and advise on project specifications.

      • Evaluate subcontractor and material proposals for completeness of scope.

      • Perform site visits to evaluate existing conditions and proposed scope of work.

      • Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.

      • Prepare thorough documentation files for hand off to Operations department for implementation of projects.

      Experience & Education Desired:

      • Experience: 3+ years as a Civil Estimator or a related bachelor’s degree.

        • 3+ years of sitework experience

      • Project Evaluation & Estimation: Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and estimating projects, integrating schedules, and engaging with key stakeholders, including the design team, owners, operations, and estimating.

      • Contract Knowledge: Strong understanding of various contract types, including hard-bid/lump-sum, cost-plus, and guaranteed-maximum price (GMP).

      • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. ( Bluebeam Revu)

      • Software Proficiency: Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and cost estimating software.

      • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with bid distribution platforms such as Procore is preferred.

      • Additional Skills: Experience in vertical building estimation is a plus.

      • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and legal regulations

      • Experience in athletic projects is a plus
