- Exceptionally collaborative, intellectually curious team player with a genuine passion for finding and analyzing state-sponsored cyber threats.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with threat research or digital forensics.
- Experience in analyzing highly-complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
- Familiarity with iOS and macOS internals a plus
- Extraordinary leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience collaborating and communicating effectively with civil society organizations and engineering teams.
- Keen attention to detail, and an ability to manage work with competing priorities and different timescales.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,400.00 and $229,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Summary
As part of our efforts to protect our users from even the most grave digital threats, Apple is seeking an extraordinary Technical Lead to work within our Threat Intelligence team focused on Civil Society Partnerships. This role will help drive SEAR strategy and operations for pro bono support to Civil Society groups working to counter state-grade mercenary spyware, and will provide direct technical, threat intelligence, and engineering support to these groups. An ideal candidate has a threat intelligence background with experience in engineering or working closely with engineers, is detail-oriented and analytically minded, has exceptional written and verbal communication skills across multidisciplinary groups, and is known for their follow-through and ability to problem-solve. You can find all of this in one opportunity, and only at AppleKey QualificationsDescriptionThe SEAR Civil Society Partnership team works to connect with civil society groups and other select external entities to gain insight into the security problems facing civil society and ensure security solutions are accessible and understood by high-risk users. As the Civil Society Partnership Technical Lead you will be responsible for a broad portfolio of work, including: * Contribute to overall program strategy and framework development. * Analyze and understand advanced cyber actors, capabilities, and techniques. * Coordinate across and provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to a diverse group of individuals providing support to civil society partners. * Work with security engineers in designing innovative mitigations to cyber threats while preserving privacy, ease-of-use, and user experience. * Work closely with civil society partners in support of cyber threat intelligence activities. * Remote work, with occasional travel.Education & ExperienceBachelors or Masters in related fieldAdditional RequirementsPay & BenefitsAbout the company
