Review all No Objection Certificate (NOC) requests that require auditing related to iron and metal works at external sites and bridges.
Ensuring compliance of civil works to design requirements, specifications and project plan while making sure of implementing MCC policies & regulations.
Review and evaluate NOC requests requiring structural audits.
Conduct technical assessments of iron and metal works in field locations and bridge structures.
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.
Provide expert recommendations and approvals for structural elements in submitted requests.
Coordinate with other engineering and inspection teams for field visits and assessments.
Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation for audit records
Overseeing project management, like tracking budgets and maintaining a database of projects and their progress.
Ensure structure can withstand the stress and pressure imposed by use and the environment.
Calculate stability, strength and rigidity and make sure the right materials are used for each project, whether it is a new-build, conversion or renovation.
Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among client, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.
Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Participates in weekly progress meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years practical experience years’ experience in the infrastructure and roads works.
Proven experience in structural engineering, particularly with iron and metal structures.
Strong understanding of structural codes and field audit procedures.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work effectively in field environments and under tight deadlines
Arabic speaker preferrable.
Monitoring and Control Center (MCC) approval preferred.
Have a proactive and problem solving personality.
Good communication and coordination skills
