      Position Specific Description

      This position is responsible for handling Property Damage Claims asserted against the company. In this role, you will investigate and evaluate each assigned claim to determine liability and negotiate satisfactory settlements of property damage claims when liability is found.

      The ideal candidate will have:

      Experience handling General Liability Claims. (Property damage experience a strong plus)
      Electrical utility or similar knowledge/experience a plus
      Strong investigative skills
      Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      620 Florida All Lines Adjuster License a strong plus

      Job Overview

      Employees in this job are responsible for handling property damages claims asserted by or against the company. Individuals investigate and evaluate each assigned claim to determine liability, bills, and/or negotiate satisfactory settlements of property damage claims when liability is found.

      Job Duties & Responsibilities

      Under general supervision:
      • Investigates, evaluates and negotiates satisfactory settlements of personal injury and major property damage claims
      • Provides support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony
      • Provides support to peers, and training to new Specialists
      • Provides support and assistance to Service Centers to resolve claims matters
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

      Required Qualifications


      • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
      • High School Grad / GED
      • Experience: 1+ years

      • Bachelor's Degree
