AIG manages claims using a wealth of technical and market knowledge about risks, business practices, and the ever-evolving legal and regulatory environment.

  About the role

  Claims Analyst III

  What you need to know:

  • Handle claims from inception through conclusion of Professional Liability matters, including School Leaders, Public Officials, Employment Practices and multiple other industry segments.
  • Duties include investigation/evaluation of coverage, litigation management and settlement negotiation.
  • Evaluate liability and assess damages on claims tendered to multiple Errors & Omissions policies and establish timely reserves.
  • Interface with insureds, brokers, and counsel to resolve claims.
  • Communicate with underwriting as necessary and with senior claims management.

  What we’re looking for:

  • Claims background and/or law background preferred.
  • Individual must have good written and verbal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and effective interpersonal and organizational skills.

  The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$96,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits, a summary of which can be viewed here: Bene fits Overview.
