What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process first-party property claims based on client-specific program coverage
- Make coverage determinations through investigation and evaluation
- Adjudicate settlements or denials within designated authority levels
- Handle a high volume of claims, phone calls, and correspondence while ensuring proper documentation
- Support the organization's quality programs and meet production goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in claims adjudication preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to use multiple systems simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience managing a claims inventory of over 400 claims
- Familiarity with first-party property and casualty claim adjudication
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics in a claims role
- Experience working remotely and handling productivity goals
