What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve coding and charging issues for all payers
- Review medical documentation for assigning billing modifiers
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
- Organize education for physicians/providers to improve claims and revenue cycle
- Meet productivity and quality standards set by the Revenue Integrity Director
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Coding certification required: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, CCS, CCS-P, or CCA within 3 months of hire
- Epic, IDX, and Centricity experience preferred
- High school diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Proficiency in CPT and ICD coding systems
- Knowledge of Federal billing regulations and managed care requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two (2) or more years of experience coding in OB
- Coding certification strongly preferred
