What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review internal databases, client guidelines, and policy contract language to evaluate routine home and facility-based claims
- Communicate effectively with claimants, representatives, third parties, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Obtain licensure information, proof of loss, and dates of service from service providers
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of all claim activity within required databases
- Uphold compliance principles as outlined in the Code of Conduct and participate in mandatory training initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree or equivalent formal training program
- Two years of experience in a medical, insurance, or risk management setting
- One year of work experience in claim processing
- Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience in a fast-paced insurance or healthcare environment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
