      Essential Functions:

      • Develops the documentation of claims processes, procedures, and manuals across all lines of business and claims services at EMC to ensure they remain up to date and accurate as part of the transition to Guidewire.
      • Ensures all processes, procedures, and manuals reflect the new corporate structure due to claims centralization.
      • Evaluates existing processes for effectiveness in collaboration with claims leaderships and subject matter experts.
      • Leads working groups to discuss changes to processes, and collaborates with claims teams, subject matter experts and Claims Leadership on updating and maintaining claim manuals, best practices, process and procedure documents, claim forms and workflows for current workflows and ClaimCenter/Guidewire.
      • Ensures appropriate storage of materials and documents within repositories including ClaimSite, shared folders, SharePoint, etc.
      • Creates content for documents or articles and shares on ClaimSite and appropriate repositories.
      • Tracks communication of updated processes, claim manuals, claims forms, Best Practices, etc. to claims teams through a variety of methods including Claims Townhalls, team meetings, emails and other methods.
      • Monitors the ClaimsConnect email and other feedback forums and documents responses to feedback as appropriate.
      • Recommends necessary updates to ClaimSite such as recommending design changes and adding subsites, etc. in coordination with Claims Leadership and various claims teams.
      • Develops and maintains claims information and project documentation in various repositories including shared drives, folders, and Teams sites.
      • Tracks assigned projects, including status, dates, and team members involved.
      • Communicates updates and changes to Claims Leadership and claims teams through various methods.
      • Develops and maintains claims information and project documentation on ClaimSite’s future version as well as various repositories including shared drives, folders, and Teams sites.
      • Tracks current projects, including status, dates, and team members involved.
      • Serves on the intranet migration team as a representative for claims to ensure claims needs are being discussed and incorporated into the requirements for the new intranet provider.
      • Collaborates on the design and build out of ClaimSite’s future version as the new intranet platform is implemented.
      • Manages assigned, small sized claims process/workflow projects through initiation, planning, execution, control and closure.
      • Deploys project management best practices for the creation and delivery to teams.
      • Provides and facilitates communication plans and runs effective project meetings with clear objectives.
      • Ensures the alignment of projects with claims strategic goals and long-term plans.

      Education & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related field or equivalent relevant experience
      • Five years of experience in a claims adjusting role
      • Experience in a business process related role may be used to substitute for some of the experience requirement
      • Prior experience with Guidewire preferred
      • Insurance designations, such as AIC preferred

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      • Strong knowledge of claims processes, claims handling and claims workflows
      • Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint
      • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, PowerBI, SQL, and R
      • Ability to translate technical ideas into more general terms for business customers
      • Knowledge of low code/no code processes for functional business needs preferred
      • Strong knowledge of technology and ability to interpret data
      • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
      • Excellent organizational abilities
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Excellent attention to detail
      • Ability to multi-task independently and meet deadlines

      Per the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hiring range for this position for Colorado-based team members is $82,757.51- $106,263.54. The hiring range for other locations may vary.
