What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process dental claims and pre-authorizations/referrals in accordance with plan timelines
- Maintain knowledge of service level agreements (SLA) and state regulations
- Promote teamwork culture and maintain a productive work environment
- Perform data entry and benefit determination tasks
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in processing dental claims
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute and proficient in 10-key by touch
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
- Front/back-office experience in a dental office
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet objectives
